Finally my baby is at home, it looks like a pump in good shape.
It seems it has a kind of cold start boost, the one with the cable attached. Does anyone know what the pins in the connector are and if it is driven with a PWM-signal?
There's another connector as well (the right one), I assume that is the fuel temp sensor. Am I right?
Not sure about the 1st plug but the second one is fuel cut off isn't it?
First one is a throttle position sensor used for automatic transmissions I think.
Second is definitely the stop solenoid.
you dont need the first on on a mtdi but you need your stop solenoid power to run and no power to stop the fuel
Ah! A TPS and the Cut off valve. I totally missed that.
Anyway, it got me thinking. A TDI use to rely on glowing for cold starts.

Keep it & all the hardware, you never know when someone will make a electronic VNT controller that uses that TPS.

i sent my mate all the stuff to make a M-tdi pump with the disco TPS, dont know when it will be done though!!
