I just got my alt brackets back from the powder coater ( silver )and I have a new 120 amp for the A/C system if I install that.
Iam going with the stock 70 amp and I dont want to hang a unit on there I know nothing about., I wasnt easy since the mounting bolt on one of ears would not come all the way out since it not clear the frame on my MK1 caddy.
I removed all four nuts from the alt bracket and removed it as a complete assy, not bad since the pump is off and the bracket is being PC satin black..
I went to the German auto parts website and they dont carry alternator's ?
Best price exchange is AutohausAZ 150.86 ?

90 amp is a option with the no A/C, same bracket Non tensioner type bracket ( Two bolts to secure to bracket ) Bosch 028-903-025 P
This type is adjusted by loosing one bolt, these alternators have a spring on the bottom of the alternator to keep the tension on the belt

120 amp Bosch 028-903-025 S
I have the bracket that attaches to the larger bracket that secures the A/C Compressor.
I don't know if it would fit but I went from a 75 amp on my 1987 F250 Diesel to a 3G alternator with 130 amps and internal regulator. That is the standard alternator on 1993 or 4 Ford Taurus, I think. Either way, going from 75 amp to 130 made a big differance.
