I ruined everyone's good fun by being an obscene teenager as most of you think I am. I guess I filled the Stereotype in quite well eh?
I just want everyone to know I am truly sorry, and I feel bad for it getting locked on my behalf
Don't reply to this, I just wanted everyone to know and not think less of me
EDIT: Vince or someone, would you mind moving this to the General forum. I miss-posted by accident. Thank-you.

There's just as many adults that fit that description... Just gotta keep in mind when posting somewhere such as here, would you show/say that to your mother/8 year old???

maybe we could turn this into what we once had
I think this is a better forum for it anyway. The last one was just funny since it started out as a serious question that got way out of wack.

no you can't.

I didn't want to post it again, but I figured you were leaning toward that. I still think women were created in God's image, for men, and as long as we can appriciate that we are ok. If we get too far gone our minds and threads get corrupt and neither is good. I think this pic is the limit and we should probably keep it under this...Just my opinion.

Agreed, but I think we need to approach that limit frequently..

Wow.
How exactly do you think a picture like that makes the female members of this forum feel ? Seen them post much lately? Wonder why ? I believe the last one ended with someone asking her for pictures.
I let the above picture slide the last time mostly because I was getting a bit weary of being a baby sitter and was hopeful that folks were mature enough to reign things in... NOT.
I'd ask you to reconsider if such a post is in fact accessible and respectful to all?
This WILL remain a forum that is safe reading for our kids/significant others/grandmothers. Yes, I met a grandmother today with a 1980-something Turbo Diesel Rabbit... gotta be a rare find.

maxfax provided the sauce. Cheers to he.
I don't think the material posted in the forum should be geared away from a younger audience because seriously, if i had a young child/sibling who was interested enough in what we talk about on here ... it would be some kind of miracle prodige child.
"Daddy, I was browsing through the forum after school today... what's volumetric efficiency? What pressure, were i to build this engine, should i run the water/methanol at?"
"Well son, those are very good questions! But it's really quite simple..."
Or elderly folk posting on a forum? Not likely.
But I respect and support having a crude-free forum. It's the atmosphere and content that is to be concerned with not who might be reading through the forum.
Having said that, i'm not supporting turning this forum into 4chan or vortex, far from it. I'd just like to state my opinion that i'd rather the content stay decent for mine and your own sake. Do i come to the forum to read a bunch of hilarious (because, honestly it is pretty funny) nonesense? No... not really...
Forums are just a social thing and all parts of society are shown. It shouldn't be made such a big deal, nor should it be tested. Sometimes it's hard to recognize who you're really talking to when you post on here. Mistakes like that are easy to make.
Ed's sixpence.
PS. Check out my new avatar fellas

it was really hard to get a shot of it at 30 whilst driving.

True that, and it was pointed out that my ealier post may be constured as being and I quote "lippy".. Apologies as it was not intended as that..
Time to let this die but with one last comment, on Ed's avatar,
People driving with cell phones is bad enough, now with cameras!?!

I got in on this a bit late, but I browse this forum at times with my 6 year old daughter looking at it with me because she thinks cars are interesting. Unfortunately with some of the crap I see, I have to stop doing this. I'm not trying to be a prude, but honestly, some of the stuff that gets posted, would you want your 6 year old daughter exposed to it? She reads on her own, so even some of the text, she looks at and asks what it means or why someone would say that. I hate to think I have to make sure I only look at this forum when she's not around, and if it comes to that, I'll drop the forum because my daughter is worth more to me than this forum. I think some of you guys need to keep this in mind, and go back and edit some of your posts. You aren't "just being guys", you're being jerks and idiots. If someone said or showed this to your young daughter, I hope you would take offense or you aren't worthy of being a father. Enough of my soapbox, hopefully some of you will listen and think.

personally i think children will be exposed to much worse over the period of their childhoods these days. just look at the media. i can appreciate a parent trying to shield their children from it, but it brings out a curiosity in them which will be fueled by pressure from their peers. to give you an example, i just found out not too long ago what a 'rainbow party' was, and let me tell you, that i NEVER heard of it before, let alone when i was a youngster!!! and no i'm not going to share what it is... look it up for yourselves.
and i think only feminists hate seeing pictures of hot beautiful women because they are in fact not hot and certainly not beautiful. the reason they are feminists is because they're jealous of the fact that they don't have a great body. i've never heard of or seen a hot feminist... ever!
maybe i missed something, but why was this thread created???
