Could I have a bad injector barb?

I just replaced my 1.5L head with a rebuilt one

The car is running like a champ, but I now have this annoying issue. One and only one injector is leaking from the return line. I have replaced the hose about 4 times! It just keeps coming back.
Could it be a bad barb? Fuel is leaking down and settling on my HG (the notch tab that sticks out)
I want to conserve fuel(even though it just leaks a little)
It also drives me crazy if the car is leaking anything
The injectors are rebuilt.
Thanks! -Joseph

put a little clamp on those lines that are leaking any fuel or you could try some silicone? smaller lines? don't send me text messages! text messages are for little girls...

Put a clamp or zip tie on it. It should stop it. If not, then you very well may have a problem with your barb.
I wouldn't suggest putting silicone on it. Not only would it probably corrode quickly but it might get a little messy.

and that stuff stinks!
Zip tie to the rescue. My whole engine is being held together with zip ties. Screw arp studs.

Thanks for the help.
I just want to punch this injector in the face
I will give the zip tie a chance, maybe a smaller diameter hose, but the hose im using is already pretty small....
(it seems to make a good seal, because it hard to pull the hose off to replace...)

I just finished a test to see if my injector was leaking or not. I was going to replace the injector to see if that eliminated the leak. However, as I was re-connecting the lines to the injector; I noticed that the line was NOT matching up with the injector. Not barely but by 1/2 of the diameter of the line. So, I loosened all of the lines, and the little rubber clamps and the lines at the pump, shifted lines around until the match-up was improved. Since I was also changing the oil, I am about to complete that job and then test the injector for leaking again. I will post back with the results. The way it was before, the leak appeared to becoming from the line to injector connection.

UPDATE:
I stopped the leak!
But...there is a problem. I used one of my old injectors. I can tell its not up to par, the car seems just a tad bit off to accelerate. Just a little shaky/rough( car idles fine & starts fine)
It was a bad barb that caused the return line to leak.
Im going to have to make due with the one bad injector for a few days...Will this do damage?
Or will i just have to deal with the fact that the car was running like a dream and now it is just off enough to be annoying?

depends on how bad your "bad" injector is

Take the injectors apart and swap nozzles

Take the injectors apart and swap nozzles
You would have to pop test it one way or another. The injector could be "bad" for two reasons. Poor spray pattern and different breaking pressure.

Im pretty sure the old one I put in must have a different spray pattern/breaking pressure. The car idles fine, but under a load it just off a little. The power is shaky/loud... Maybe I will post a video.(I just got a new video camera) That would be fun.
