Well last night i was driving on some what of a highway. I was flowing with traffic at seventy (the speed limit) and all of a sudden everyone nails there brakes so obviously i do to .I get stop and just as i stop and look in my rearview mirror i see a freakin 99 sunfire not even trying to slow down and rear end me. As you all know sunfires have very pointy front ends so when he hit me he launched the rear of my 89 jetta high enough were the front lower valance hit the ground and i spun around in traffic. After he hit me he jumped up on the median. Both cars are complete right offs. in his car his airbags went off and took out his windsheild. The front of his car was crumpled in about 8 inches WOW! For the jetta the rear doors dont open the trunk doesnt close and the drive side quarte panel is crumpled in 10 inches or so

I always do it once and do it right. Boy did i ever live up to that one. I'll post pics later tonight.

Glad to hear your ok. That does suck. Hopefully they had insurance. Around here that is a big problem, no insurance drivers.

thanks for the offers but the meat head in the sunfire gave me 2500 bucks if we don't go through insurance so i will just use it for parts. It has an excelent motor and tranny. 221,000 and no blow by so I have about 3000 dollars towards a td
Thanks

He probably just realized that the Golf and Jetta front ends are identical
