Ok so this morning the heat shields where rattling against the exhaust pipe, so i took some self taping screws and fixed it...while doing that i touched the muffler and it fell off  so there is no catalitic converter, or resinator on the car...so its a straight pipe off the turbo, will that hurt the motor, its a 1.9AAZ TD

It will increase the Benefits!
if you can live with the sound and smell of exhaust in the car leave it that way

lool
Back pressure is not important on diesels.. the less the better.
You probably gained like 5 hp

I'd just put some more pipe on there so the exhaust goes out the back, just like it should. Oh, and I love the straight pipe on my TDI. Has a nice whistle at idle.
