On a side note, I love your BBS rims. Where the [insert explitive here] is everyone getting these rims from? Is there somewhere I can get these online (prefer buying from Canada) I see them on tons of mk2's on vwvortex, and I love them, even though lots of ppl say they are played out. Depending on which color I paint my car, im either getting those or some white rota's. NO One sells these, or even ones that look remotly close where I live.

a turbo sigh... I was wondering what that sound was!!!!!!
When i was running just my 2.5" downpipe and hitting 20 psi the "turbo sigh" was SO loud inside the car (and with the windows down) i thought the tires were sliding on the gravel on the ground from downshifting!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love my T3 too
But with a stock exhaust it really blows chunks

One of these days I need to grab the camcorder and go hop aboard one of our "noisier" buses so you guys can hear that that almost chest-sized turbo spool up.
Some of them you can hear the boost whistle from the other end of a fully loaded bus. :shock:
mine sent like a harmoic drone throughout the entire car that sounded like i had a HUGGGEEE blower on a big block under the hood when i put my foot down.
I too cut the exhaust after the dp pointed backwards. I want to revert back to that since i passed emission testing with my stock exhaust.
I miss the sounds the Peter-built 12 yard dump truck I drive in the summertime makes when accelerating. talk about a big turbo, the thing is bigger than my cars motor, and the sweet sweet song it belts out the twin stacks is so amazing. louder than a marching band going to the slaughter house, but sweet!
and the fords with twincharged two stroke detroits just sound mean! like they are going to eat all the cars in front of them and spew them out the exhaust!
but I digress, nice turbo whistle you got there
