• i have a question:  can i re-use the 1.6 p/s pump on a 1.9 engine if i put the 1.9 into the mk2 jetta? just need the bracket from the 1.9 engine? or do i need the 1.9 p/s pump and bracket?

  All the Mk2 stuff will bolt onto your AAZ.

  The bracket that goes under the crank pulley is different on the AAZ compared to the 1.6s. When I put the 1.6 into the mk3 I used the 1.6 pump and just hooked up the 1.9 lines to it.

  There are many different possible combinations. I've bolted A1 p/s stuff directly onto an AAZ.
