fueling up, bigger turbo(K24) , bigger exhaust and 1.6TD boost pin should the stock clutch hold with these few advancments??
is ther an upgrade thats a direct replacment?
i think mine is slippin a bit and its only 1 1/2 old......
this possible>
cable clutch? where does the clutch engage? AFAIK you can install a VR6 clutch upgrade... 1.9's should be able to hold quite a bit of power before letting go... what is your driving style like? the more you ride/play the clutch, the more it will wear...
What car? You need 02A tranny for VR6 clutch.
I run a AZZ in a mk2, boost, pin, fuel increase, 2.5 inch turbo back exhaust, FMIC, K-24, you know the usual haha, and i just put in another stock clutch, this one now has about 800km on it, and is slipping already, I will be going 6 puck soon. That being said i run an 020 small w/small spline, I belive a big spline set up, with the larger clutch surface would be able to take more punishment.
Also my driving style is um... spirited.

hmmm  is it in launches that you feel it slip, or is it when you really stomp on it and boost is going crazy?
i've driven a vw where the clutch would just break loose because of the power... very fun car to drive until that started to happen
yeah mine isn't going to take what im building. =(
is a vr6 the only way to go?
What are you using for a pressure plate?
I had my 98 TDI jetta chipped and bigger nozzles and everytime i launched with anything more than 1/2 throttle you could smell the clutch cooking. My friend bought the car but without the nozzles and it's still the same clutch after a year. All to say -yes you need a VR6 clutch and pressure plate.
