• i know you guys keep getting asked the same sort of questions, but im stumped on this one
  
  
    ive got the BOV blocked off, drilled the wastegate banjo, got solid pipes on the intercooler side, but i cant make over 1bar of boost :?
  
  
    the cars a '90 golf GTD (european)
  
   am i doing/ missing something blatantly obvious?

  basically ive followed the posts on increasing power, but i still cant break the 1 bar mark

• Refresh us on what you did to the waste gate.  To me, 'drilling the banjo' will just give you a boost leak.
  
  If its a KKK turbo, fill the banjo bolt on the kompressor with RTV and let it cure.  Reinstall it, and remove the other end of the waste gate boost line from the waste gate and leave it open.

  Regulate your EGT with fuel.
