Thanks, I guess the 80-85C would be good, but that's a 3 pin and I need a 2 pin. I can probably just use the pins for that setting and ignore the other. I wonder what kind of current these are good for, my fans draw 8A ea.
Another option would be to install the fans on a relay and use a different temp switch altogether, it's easier to find low current temp switches.
Cold weather coming anyway, I bet we'll be discussing how to keep em warmer in a few months!
trust me... flush out your system with prestone heavy duty flush. and then inspect the rad by taking off the front cover. mine had what looked to be a dirt nest... cleaned it out and works great. can't say enough about just getting a system flush. think of it this way - how well is the heat going to transfer to the metal walls when theres a good layer of deposits??? not very good... theres nothing wrong with the stock setup as long as everything is working as it should.
