Im running a remote oilfilter kit to pre filter fuel with oil filters before it hits the stock (bosch)fuel filter.Im planning on using the stock cooling assembly for heating.Im not planning on adding a solinoid to switch from line to line just running it straight from the tank.we are manufacturing bioD,to help frey fuel costs.are there going to be any gains in burning heated fuel?obviously it will only be heated once the engine warms, and will cool on shutdown.Maybe some filtration benefits.Or should i just go all out and convert to run on just wvo as well?
Diesel fuel should NEVER be heated to the temp of the coolant or any other heater. Vegetable oils have to be heated to get them anywhere near the viscosity of diesel. if you want your IP and motor to last use a 2 tank system.Only blend if you are going to update to an Elsbett or similar system.

Elsbett or similar system? interested in hearing more about this set-up.
has anyone tried this type of system on a non turbo vw ?
i am planning on mixing small percentage of wvo on my main tank.
i could go with dual tank, but trying to keep everything simple and stock looking as possible.
Just try to look up their website. What they offer is nice, but being German it's real pricey. On their 1 tank systems most kits involve replacing injectors, using coolant to heat a fuel plate, processors, etc. I was going to be an installer/ distributor for them but the few customers who were initially interested, changed their mind once they found out how much it would cost. Most people will go for a lower cost 2 tank.
