Well I just noticed recently that my #2 injector had a slow leak. I am leaving on a trip to Edmonton tomorrow. So I had ordered some GTD nozzles, to go in untill I sort out the mess with the "BIG" injectors. I took some spare "cores" I had gotten from Dave took the nozzles and cores to Justin and BD and he set them up to 160 Bar as requested by me.
Later that evening Dave came over for some exhaust work so I had Dave pulled out my old injectors and put my new ones in while I worked on his downpipe. After a long evening, Mark and I had a chance to go for test drive. After letting the car warm up I decided to see what these things were like and opened it up we were in second gear making 22psi when it "popped and whirred" and then there was just a lot of smoke and no boost, so I started home and noticed that we had a big cloud following us. I thought mabey I had popped the HG, after nearly a year of 22psi +, with testing hitting 35psi +, got just about home and the oil light came on so I shut off the car and coasted the rest of the way. We put the car in the shop, the back of the car was covered in oil, and the exhaust was dripping oil. I pulled off the intake and the turbo was frozen in place. All of this a day before I need to leave for Edmonton.
So this morning I called a few people and tracked down a turbo, went picked it up and spent the better part of the day wrestling the old one out and the new one in. As it turns out the only turbo I could find was a KKK, vs my garrett that blew up. So I will give a run down of performance differnce in a week or two when I return from my trip. Regardless got the new turbo in went for a drive, everything was very smooth good power, really quick boost. Drove it with stock boost at 12psi or so for about 15min just listening and watching the gauges, everything looked fine so I took it back to the shop and hooked up my electronic boost controler. Set it for 19PSI and went for a drive.

So smooth and quite. Power wasnt up huge, but I despritly need more air and cooler air, I have smoke on demand and any rpm and at any boost level, still waiting on a new intercooler and to put my second turbo in.
