its an eaton M112 off an aston martin DB9 (V12)
maybe a bit over the top, but who cares
am gona run it in my chopped down AAZ also with T3.
i got a head and block today, i just wana make sure that it will deffo hav enough compession to start up if i take 4mm off the top
btw thats with a 1.6 crank and PD rods
just want to double check ,think im gona go for it, ive got nothing to loose
would be good to hear other peoples opinions though
if i lower the compression that much, how much boost cud i run reliably b4 it goes pop

if you are going to push lots of boost with that you might have to go to a toothed belt, the serp setup tends to squeal when higher boost pressures are attempted. there is a guy on vwvortex who swapped over to a toothed belt with success.
looks like fun, you should be able to run lots of boost before it goes pop.

If you are going with that extra sweet supercharger, you should ditch the intercooler and switch over the water/meth injection. Andy2 and 635Racer have both run large amounts of boost. Andy 2 is also working on the compund turbo setup. Head studs are going to be a given. You may be able to bump them up one size.
Is this going to be a street driver ? How cold does it get where you live?

its my daily driver, it needs to be reliable, i will be content with about 200bhp
it never gets colder than -5 it rarly goes below 0
ive seen the vids or that merc, its amazing but looked like he tried to tune it to much, 350bhp is a bit over the top
if sumone who is smarter than me wud care to work out exactly how much i can cut off to lower compression and still start up pretty easy wud be greatly apreciated
i want to learn more about meth/water injection anyone got any gud links
i was gona charge cool it as well
also anyone tried 1mm oversized pistons? duno if its worth it

also i want to run it on biodiesel and that makes starting up harder too, will low compression just make it worse?

Why would that make starting harder? Biodiesel typically has a fantastic cetane number.
Of course, that might just be my American #2 Diesel viewpoint.

I dunno, those sneakers look pretty beat, if you want to go faster you might want to get new ones. I know when I was a kid new sneakers were always faster than beat ones.
