Sorry I haven't been on for a while. I've been busy and my internet went down. I've checked and readjusted the valves. A couple of the intake valves had too much clearance. That may of helped a little, but it hasn't been as cold since I've checked them. When I started it when it was 70F outside it didn't have a miss at all. When it does miss it has some black smoke. Hopefully sometime I'll have enough time to take the injectors out, have them checked, and check the compression.
Mine reacts the same way. My cam is shot & I'll be replacing it in a couple days. I'll try to let you know my findings. I also have new nozzles staged for later on in the week.
Okay, "new" cam is in & I can report easier starting and better idle. Boost builds quicker and my exhaust now sounds like a Cummins at idle (this is a very good thing). However, something's still not right with fueling so new nozzles are going in soon.
