Does anyone know what thread is tapped into the t3 for the oil feed?I know it converts to 12mmx1.5.I bought and oilfeed line spec. for the t3,but it has a 3an female fitting.Im having trouble finding correcet fittings.still...
I had the same problem. I went with a SS braided oil line, and tapped 1/8 NPT to 4AN fitting directly into the fitting already in the top of the turbo. On the oil filter stand, I tapped the same thing.
I'm new to the turbo nitty-gritty but I'll be doing the same on my K14, eventually.
I don't really understand the confusion - sounds like you need an adapter from M12x1.5 to AN-3. I'll be buying two of these from here:
http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/group.asp?GroupID=PLUMADAP12MMas well as a M16x1.5 to AN-8 for the drain side.
I haven't actually installed one so consider yourself warned. The adapters they sell are "convex" or "concave" sealing. The fittings on my turbo seal with a copper washer. I plan to buy the "concave" type fitting since it'll be a bit shorter and use a copper or aluminum washer to seal the fitting to the turbo body.

Well i would need a 12mmx1.5 female end which seems to be elusive.Or if i knew what the turbo thread was i could go from their.
Can't you just pull the oil feed pipe adapter from the turbo casting and measure the threads? I'm not sure I fully understand, mainly because I'm not familiar with all the various turbos being used.

i did a idi to td swap years ago
if i remember right,i retapped the filter pad(oil feed)for standard stuff...
1/4npt i think,or 3/8,i remember there was plenty of meat for retapping the existing metric threads
then i got a fitting that was the correct npt male nipple on 1 side, and 5/16 compression on the other side...
then i took the stock line (8mm,and 8mm=5/16)and cut the orig comp fitting off and used the 5/16 comp fitting
bend the line slightly and voila, you got oil
it was hard to tell it looked like factory
