• Well all the major stuff is done and it drives great! Not bad for a free car and a $300 engine  :lol: New pics up!

  Specs:
  New Bosch oil and fuel filters
  New Sachs clutch kit
  New timing belt
  Rotella T engine oil
  Redline MTL trans oil
  Tokico shocks/springs
  
  Need to install:
  Passat 15" rims
  Aircraft spruce egt probe
  Horribly rice GlowShift Pyro/Oil Pressure/Boost-Vac gauges (dont hate...they're retarded cheap)
  Tach
  Better seats

• Ok first question of the swap...
  The 1.6td that came in the passat was bolted up to the passat tranny (O2A I assume? its cable shifted and hydraulic clutch) but I will be using the stock O2O golf tranny. The clutch is still bolted up to the engine and I was wondering if there are any differences between the O2O and O2A clutches...will I have a problem if I just leave that clutch on the engine and bolt on the O2O trans?
