They have a 3 bolt pattern. Sorry, thought all k14 were the same pattern!!

It's most likely the same pattern as the vw 1.9TD exhaust manifold (3 bolt)

That looks similar. I can measure the flange if you want as I still have a manifold here?

That would be cool but I sold that manifold so I won't be able to measure mine  :? Maybe post it so someone else can compare.

Ok, so i meausured up a manifold flange today so as to compare the XUD k14 bolt pattern to that of the VW one.
Here are the pics:

So it's basically an 85mm x 90mm x 90mm isoceles triangle patterm, is it the same as the 1.9 one?

My 1.9 k-14 has a rectangular bolt pattern, 4 holes.

All of the k14's on the 1.9 IDI used the 4 bolt trapezoidal flange. The k03 was the only turbo on the 1.9 IDI to use the 3 bolt flange.I don't know about the k14 on the 1.6 ECO but would guess that it uses the same 4 bolt flange as well.

I'll tkae the t3 for any application over the k14, the k14 or any of the small frame turbos are just too small. Too performance limiting for me. I can get 30 psi of boost with a t3 by 2500 rpm with some mods so it spools as fast as any turbo ever needs to.

Maybe at lower elevations, but unless you're blowing a huge thick black cloud I'll bet you $100 it won't produce 30 psi at 2,500rpms in Flagstaff. I'd be really impressed to see 10 psi at 2,500 rpms with a t-3 equipped 1.6 without a very large thick black cloud.
Andrew
Yeah I dunno I am at sea level, well like 120ft above
I was doing some work on a customers van yesterday, I can make about 12 psi with the t3 but on a 1.9 at around 2500rpm. And nothing I work on smokes, I hate black smoke.
