I contacted Jeff at Rocket Chip about immobilizer defeat in my swap project and he said;
"That Mk4 engine won't easily fit in M3 body".
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Is it an interference with turbo? My plan is to use the MK3 engine mounts bolted to the ALH.
Thanks. That looks easy enough to duplicate with my mill machine and metal burrs.
You'll probably have to do some work on the front mount bracket as well. I had to grind down the back of my mount to clear the crank sensor and then I added a brace with a gusset over to the starter bolt.
Good. I can handle that one with the plasma cutter and welder.
