1.6 Vanagon diesel engine with turbo kit for sale (NM- USA)

I have just had this engine removed my van for an upgrade. It is an NA 1.6 diesel with less than 50K on it. The engine was fitted with the BAE turbo kit from new. The turbo kit and the engine are complete and are ready to install. The engine ran perfectly when it was removed. The only known problem was a small exhaust leak somewhere close to the engine.
The turbo kit is very rare especially complete and ready to go. I understand that this could be fitted into a VW car but will need the appropriate oil pan and plumbing.
I will tie it to a pallet and take it to a trucking depot in Albuquerque for the purchaser.

Yeah. I can pmail you pics of the engine in the van. But more detail of the engine out will have to wait for next week as I am going to be working OOT for a couple of days.

hey witoke! is this the same one that you e-mailed me about earlier on samba from that add i had ? username (vwpikup1) I can't remember i think you called me ? Iv'e found 2 B.A.E. complete set ups since then! one even came with the original B.A.E. boost gage! what extras does yours come with?also did you ever see how much shaft play was in the turbo?do you know what the going price for a used B.A.E. turbo set up is?

hell I can't remember whether I contacted you or not. I know I did talk to someone a while back who did not, in the end, want a Vanagon engine and BAE kit, but was going to keep looking for a Rabbit set up. Was that you?
But it is the engine and BAE kit as described, not just the kit. I don't know what the kits go for used just by themselves. I've looked as well. I had my mechanic check it out and he said it was in great shape. Remember the engine and the turbo etc have less than 50K on them. How I found an 82 Vanagon with 36K on it is a story for another day....

with the purchase of '81 Rabbit diesel truck.
Its just waiting for the right car to put it on.

did yours come with the B.A.E. boost gage? I don't know about spearco if they manufactured one with thier set up? i'm sure they did! if you didn't get one i can take a pic. of mine so you know what to look for!

No mine did not come with a gauge but the Spearco did. Yeah, send me a pic of the BAE gauge. Thanks.
