I think I have what you want. What do you need, what plug-s would it have on it?

Herb, CE1 has an upshift indicator.

CE2 does not.

if that helps.

And of course, Diesel unit will have a Gplug indicator, and not say UnLeaded Fuel anywhere. lol  ;)

I mmay have one kicking around Ce2 has two plugs ce1 has one correct?

Other way around, CE2 has one plug, CE1 has two plugs a black one and a white one. The switch from CE1 to CE2 was halfway through 1989.

1985 thru 1989.5 = CE1 - 2 plugs
From 1989.5-1992 = CE2 - 1 plug

You can also tell by the location of the fuel gauge,  CE1 has it in the tach face, CE2 it's top center of the cluster. CE2 clusters also have an LED for Temperature and the glow plug LED gets moved to the second row.
