I have two '91 eco diesel motors, both are wothout #2 lines. I used an NA line, tweaked with wrenches to bend cotrectly, but it sheared off after 300miles. Would it be better to just upgrade to a true 1.6TD pump, or can someone custom make these injector lines? Apparently this part is hard to get since this was a 90.5-92 production engine only :-/
The eco-lines should be the same as the na 1.6 engines that came on the MK2 jetta diesel from 90-1992. Ifr you still cant find lines your only other option would be to fit the shorter delivery valves to the injection pump and find a set of lines for the mk1 rabbit/jetta
I think the eco had the fauxaneroid that the second line needs to jog around.
Did you check ebay?
Wrong. Just longer delivery valves.
Do as the other guy said and convert to shorter (standard run-of-the-mill fuel pumps) delivery valves.
Simply advertise here for a good-working set. Those standard fuel lines are available new, still. Available....but, not exactly cheap anymore.
Burn-your-money is a stellar guy for assorted used parts. Contact him. He may not be dealing with the old crap anymore....not sure.
Thanks for the advice everyone. $60 for new NA lines on eBay, $92 for turbo lines. I'll scour my local junkyard/Craigslist for some NA pumps to steal parts from
Isn't there a guy who sells just the # 2 line on ebay?
A special stronger one?

A friend of mine bought one, it made his car ran funny because the inner diameter of the tube was different then the other lines.
