Turbo setup?

I've got a different question about turbo'ing a block.  I've tried to bid on a turbo setup for the engine three times now and have been sniped at the last second.  Are the manifolds from the gassers the same?  This one looks similar.

I'd be just as happy building my own turbo setup than trying to keep on bidding (and loosing at the last second) on a used turbo setup.

8V Gasser manifolds will fit to head.

But the turbo will sit in a different location so you'll need different oil lines, also the flange pattern for the turbo will probably be different.

I probably have a TD manifold. IM if interested

I'm not worried with position.  I think I'll intercool anyhow.  After all this engine isn't ending up in a VW.  Lots of stuff to work out.  :wink:

shortly after posting these shots and having lots of fun in the rabbit, she died. bottom end of engine needs rebuild. she has been mothballed in the garage since then, one thing after another has grabbed my $ before it could be directed towards her. oh well. eventually i'll get it back together, i miss driving it a lot.
