Any of these work for a 1.5?  Do the nozzles come with the, I don't know what you want to call them, end caps?  Mine have cuppung around where the nozzle needle exits.  Thanks -

Smog,

Looks like my injectors are leaky. I'm interested in a set of your 1.9 GTD nozzles but have a couple questions...

1) You mentioned earlier in this thread that you will "pop test" injectors if you are sent cores. I have a set, so how much would that cost? My spare set is pretty new, so should I keep the stock nozzles or do you prefer to recieve them complete?

2) Any compatibility issues with vegetable oil? I run WVO about 85% of the time, but am very careful about filtration & heat. Will these nozzles perform differently with vegoil for fuel?

125$can + shipping and I always send back the used original nozzles with the recalibrated injectors.

Veg oil (WVO/SVO) pop pressure higher
« Reply #44 on: December 22, 2005, 09:24:43 pm »
For anybody reading this  thread that's interested in WVO/SVO injector mods, you'd ideally want to set your injectors to a higher pop pressure on a VW vehicle.

Part of a good running WVO/SVO conversion is having hot oil, so assuming you're set up with a good system custom built for your application (you might not be!  There's a lot of hacks out there, I'm afraid!), and your fuel oil is very hot and very thin as it reaches the injection pump, it's viscosity isn't going to be dead on.  It will be a bit thicker; not so thick that it's too difficult for the integrated lift-pump in the vw/bosch inj pump to work, but just a bit thicker that it can cause rough idling problems.  Read the boards about vw SVO/WVO stuff; lots of people have this issue when they rush out and do stuff without thinking and testing.  Set the injectors to 10 psi higher than spec for a TD or TDI engine; maybe 12 for an NA.

Any stock nozzle will be fine, and any used upgrade nozzle recommended for performance increase by folks using straight diesel should also work.

  Hope this helps!
