« on: August 04, 2007, 03:46:40 pm »
I have recently picked up a 1994 VW 1.9L TD and it is well over due for a Valve lash but i don't have the specs and i do not have a turning tool or lock pin and I was wondering if anyone could help me on this.

Thanks

Your engine has hydraulic lifters... no need to set the valve lash.

No lash needed like vince said. If the engine ticks, it's either a bad lifter or worn injectors.
