I've noticed a couple of aftermarket air filters that don't fit quite right. There seems to be a 2-3mm gap on the sides.
Has anyone else noticed this, or did my airbox magically stretch?
This seems odd because the Mahle/VW filters seem to fit well.
TIA,

Aftermarket filters aren't worth the extra dough, stick to the OEM filters.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking the cheaper filters, such as Purolator, Pennzoil/Motomaster, and Fram.
Cheers,

The increased particles that enter an engine from "high flow" filters defintly aren't worth the small gains they provide.
I have not have any problems with fitment though
