Holy shiat! I paid $6600 for my brand new 1980 4-door diesel Rabbit..silver with red interior and a 5-speed. Good little car, but I ain't gonna pay 10-large for one now. Heck, my 2002 TDi Golf only cost $17,250 brand new and is a way better car. I got home an hour ago from a 1600 mile trip from San Fran to Seattle and back...51 mpg at 75 mph baby! Woo hoo!!! :lol:

Man that is sweet.....definately a collectors dream....love that red leather.....wonder if the garage was heated? and what does it look like underneath.....shifter knob "dirt" may be what is termed as "wax bloom"....very common on window seals as was is added to the rubber compound to ease installation
