Are you sure? Do you have aftermarket head?1,9 HG will fit directly to engines with hydraulic lifters. You can easily make it fit to solid lifter engine too, just block the extra hole with piece of rubber.There is original turbo engines with solid lifters from factory.

Look at this pic, see the big hump in the middle between the injectors #2 and #3? If you look to the left, there's another smaller hump between injector 1 and 2. Every hydraulic head has these two humps. If there's only one big hump in the middle, it's a mechanical head.

Looks like your intake valves on 1 and 4 touched down for sure... did it warp the valve(s) ??
