TELL ME WHERE THIS ENGINE CAME FROM 1.6TD

I have a 1.6td in the garage that I'm going to rebuild, it has a td head, it has the "T" at the end of the head part #.  But the block says "1V"  ?  I've never heard of a 1v engine code can someone shed some light on this.  I've disassembled the block, it's a 1.6 and it also has the 4 oil squirters for the underside of the pistons.  Also it's a hydraulic head setup, 12mm stretch bolts.

1V is the 91-92 USA only "ecodiesel". These engines are turbocharged but do not have boost enrichment on the pump. They make slightly less power than the "normal" turbodiesel. Normal TD power can be had by swapping the injection pump to a regular TD injection pump.

thanks, I was told it came from an eco just wanted to verify.  My bentley only went to 88 or 89.  Going to put a gt15 and a gas intake manifold.
