I was wondering if they could make modified pre-combustion chamber inserts for a 1.9TD head that reduces the volume, to that of the the 1.6TD pre-combustion chamber.
This so that the Franken engine will run better when cold, it will also allow me to use a 2.4 TD head on my Audi 2.0 TD engine in my Syncro.

I called them. They can do custom external dimension pre-combustion chambers but they can't change internal dimension... They have some shape and thay can't change it  


you have to send me some picture and dimensions what you exacly want to do and I'll try to get some more informations

isn't 2,4 head 6 cylinder and 2.0 5cyl.?

There is 2,4 5 cyl diesels in Audi, but not TD.

Thanks zaprzal for your effort, I will have to get hold of a 1.9TD cylinder head to measure how many CC's the complete pre-chamber holds compared with the 1.6TD.

Maybe there are pre-chambers around from other diesel engines that could easely be converted, I'll look into it a bit deeper when I have more time.
