That looks like a pic from emiata.com. If so, it is for a TDI. Camplate timing would be wrong for an IDI.

no its from injection pump.com but it says its for a TDI but there is a 9mm idi version that looks identical to the 12mm version i posted the picture of... and it says the 1.9 camplate is an upgrade but doesnt state if there is any hp gains

plunger or camplate is never a plug and play.
if you ran our of feul with a stock 9mm wich the most guys dont do with a idi, yes you can get more with a bigger one, deuh.

about camplate, i think you can make more power with a other one, but i dont think its easy to pioneer on this. To just say this will add power, hmz

im *trying* to build the motor to hold 25-30psi so im not sure if the stock pump internals are going to do it for me with just the the basic mods, to make power anyways
