I have .240mm nozzle, I built another pump with a 12mm and the same came plate (extra aggressive and much lift), and that make 2 times when I exceed the 4200RPM the hub pulley slips on the pump main shaft  the timing falls out of ranges and the engine stop.
I am unable to run this pump over 4000rpm, probably that I should put larger nozzle, or put in a less aggressive came plate, less power too
Hey Namedtintin.I'd like to get in touch with you.Have a few questions.I have 2 projects I am working on and I need your advice.I see you are working on a 6 spd quatrro Mtdi, the same thig that I want to do in my A4 Q. mtdi.Could you please email me to
[email protected] Thanx in advance
pulled apart a 12mm ve pump today....noticed that it had four piece cam plate rollers including the pin and washer....do all ve pumps have this construction on the rollers ....for some reason I remember them being only two piece construction.... :?
There exist several pump with 4 pieces roller, cummins pumps, some TDI pump, Fiat, etc......
Hi Tin Tin....I would assume that you run the four piece roller in your 12mm pumps?.....it seems this roller design could handle much more pressure.....anyway I'm going for the 12mm pump head (I found two of them at the scrap yard).....my pump base is a peugeot pump 1.9 going on a 1.9 ALH.....I may just stick the head on and see what happens....
