1.6d/1.6TD serpentine accessories?

rebuilding my engine, and also want to get a new a/c compressor and alternator, wondering if it was more worth it for me to go with a serp setup but dont know all the details...

adding a serp belt setup is a huge pain if you have a/c

yea.. i got an a/c compressor with the serp pulley from a guy on this forum.  i think you need to buy the pulley/clutch possibly compressor? i'm guessing the old a/c compressor is not swappable, but it might be.

the problem with the serp setup is the a/c lines are different on a serp comp vs a pulley comp.

but you should be able to get flexible extensions made by a hydraulic hose place.  just needs to be able to withstand 600 psi or so max.  that's what i will try anyways

The molecules of R-134a are very small thats one prob when retro fitting an old r-12 system. The 134a will actually leak out of a perfectly good hose. Just one thing to think of.

if you had both you could try... maybe someone else knows whether the serp clutched pulley will fit on the mk2 vbelt a/c compressor?
