how do I hook up a tach?
« on: July 05, 2007, 05:23:45 am »
someone told me I could use the W terminal on the alternator as the tach signal.  I don't understand how this works my alt pulley is a lot smaller than the crank pulley, I would think it woudn't be accurate.

I've read as many tach threads as I could find and they're a bit over my head. Is there any simple way of hooking up a normal gas tach?

The simple way is to talk to Trev0rb on the baord and have him build you one, other then that it won't be simple but it is certainly possible
