  if you wanna get "technical"
  those little rc car engines are "diesels"
  and some of them rev to 30,000 rpms
  so to me,thats the highest revving diesel ive seen :roll:  :lol:
  ill bolt 79 of them together and hopefully hit 12's in the 1/4 :lol:  :lol:  :mrgreen:

• i also hear some guys claiming (in portugal) theur opel IDI turbo diesel 1.5 do 7000rpm

  1600 JR
  k 24 @ 1.2 Bar
  governod, aneroid mod
  FMIC
  FF 020 gearbox
  ....
  
    109 HP  @   5400tr/min  (engine)
  at wheels +/- 80HP
  
  TORQUE 160Nm  @  3900 tr/min
  
  max speed in 4th gear  173km/u @  6000tr/min  = 110MPH
  
  also in 5th gear: 220km/u   = 140 MPH

  could stil rev little higher, but has now effect on power...
  
  this is with standaard diesel exhaust 40mm
  has now  groep A exhaust (63.5mm)

• Talked to local Merc drag racer at weekend. Revs at trap speed little over 7600 and had sometimes even more. MB 300 24v om606.

• i wish i could do that with my VE4 pump also + dynamic advance, thats whats andy's compound was needing, rev's to spool

• Didn´t ask, but I don´t think there is stock con rods in it... ~600hp  :roll:
