Yes, all heads it seems after 86 are the same. So yeah, clean the head surface with a good strong degreaser (if you're cheap like me, use Easy Off oven cleaner..) and inspect your head for prechamber cracks, if all good, then drop it off at a machinist and get it squared. 
Sweet.. I was wondering about using my spare head... now that I know I can send it out to a machinist, I can look at getting it P&P'd, maybe getting a good valve job, new lifters, etc. and if I feel really ambitious. perhaps a new intake... hmm decisions decisions

That's my old head... the first TD engine I ever bought. I bought it off RPM motors in Bolton IIRC

You could get it extrude honed. Just put new valves and guides, and have the shop cut new seats in. Depending on how much they shave you may or may not have to deal with the cam bearings..
Just have the shop check it first, make sure it is useable.
