Well lads,i fitted the clutch pulley on my 70A AAZ alternator today,was easy to fit,i brought the kit to remove the pulleys £20 so it wasnt expensive,i used a Audi 2005 TT pulley off a damaged alternator with 500 miles on it so its as new,i started it up and noticed the fanbelt does not bounce about as it did with the old pulley on, at tickover,so all in all a worth while fit,and it seems to be altogether smoother

IIRC it also puts less stress on the crankshaft sproket thus reducing the risk of the crankshaft's end damaging itself.
