BTW, you got the "joke" pump. You're gonna want to modify tha aneroid pin setup.

There are actually quite a few differences for the 1.9tds, the thing is the years seem to vary a bit, you know VW, they just throw on whatever they have around at the time :lol:
Turbos, there are 4 different ones, garret t2, airresearch t2, k14 and ko3
For cyl head there ones with 8mm valves and 7mm valves, 7mm valve ones have different lifters too.
Injection pumps are pretty different, passats had really weird pumps, yours is a golf/jetta pump.
Also the late models got a pumps with adjustable sprockets like on the tdi's, the early ones are just like 1.6's
