LF MK1 Jetta shell...

Anyone able to help finding a 80-84 Jetta shell.. My 82 diesel Jetta is gone on the underside right by the rear beam...

I don't want to get away from the MK1's...

Yeah I have 2 parts cars and one that has to be put down or fixed up.. The sub-frame is getting really soft and not shur if I can fix it..

i have a 1984 jetta GLI 2-door non-sunroof.

this car wasn't all that easy to come by in this climate. the metal is in excellent condition. original white paint. of course there is surface rust here and there but the car is the best 'shell' for a project mkI that i have seen north of the border (never looked in BC....) i personally would clean it up and drive it with the body as it is, but most people would want to give it a respray. from where it is, it could be completely saved.

i'm not actively selling this car, actually we just dropped a 16v into it. however, i'd like it to be built up and driven, something i won't do properly for a while. enough other cars. PM me if you are interested.

I helped with that engine swap and I can vouche for the condition of the car, basically exactly as described from what I saw

Thanks but I would really like just a shell to put my N/A diesel into and all my fairly new suspension... I'm gonna cut up one of my parts cars to have a better look at the support system that is rotted away and see what it would take to fab something up.. Worth a try...

you can IM DIRT ROAD on vortex, he has a 4 door for sale for $900. Put a temp permit on it and you could drive it home. 1.5 or 1.6 D

52h: i had hopes of making the GLI a diesel (turbo). i'll pull the 16v back out if you're interested in the rest of the car. for a daily you might want 4-dr/sunroof which mine is not...
