FS: 1.6TD camshafts, intake and exhaust manifolds
« on: May 27, 2007, 03:23:39 pm »
Up for sale are two 1.6 TD camshafts, intake and exhaust manifolds.

Cams are in good condition, the slot for the locking plate is intact on both. Definitely usable. IIRC they are the same as the 1.6NA and 1.9TD cam.

Intakes are dirty as hell and will need a good cleaning. No heatshields provided. Round port holes.

The exhaust manifolds are pretty clean but rusty. They have the trapezoidal turbo flange (T3 and K24). The bolts holding the downpipe braket broke off. Bracket not provided either.

Pictures available on request.

Asking 45$ CAD plus shipping for one camshaft

Asking 30$ CAD shipped for one intake manifold.

Asking 30$ CAD plus shipping for one exhaust manifold.

The reason the intakes have shipping included is that they are very light compared to the exhaust manifolds and camshafts.

I also have a bunch of misc 1.6 engine parts such as non-ac alt bracket, pump bracket, and some other stuff. IM me for those.

Paypal Only.

Yes it will bolt up but these are turbo diesel parts... your NA stuff is better (less cylinder bias)... unless you are building something cool 8)

Thanks for your input. what would be a good turbo/ manifold combo, if I decide to whack the runners off a 1.6l NA intake, and weld on a honkin plenum, for example....

The turbo exhaust manifold itself is pretty good, it's the slim intake manifold that's not really good.[/quote]

Do you still have a turbo intake manifold?
'82 Rabbit, I put on a euro vnt-15, 2.25" DP, 2.5" exhaust, the result.....it whistled.

I removed the turbo, made a toilet bowl 2.5" DP, the result....it was deafening. Now it has a homemade muffler up front and a thrush in the rear, the result.....less loud.
