mark, someone else was taking pictures, hopefully they will post on TDI club. (you can call me Lanny, i'd prefer that   , Len is close though)

blades... i'd say its somewhere between fast and very fast. still can't believe his ass didn't get pulled over by the looming OPP as we came down the on ramp after the GTG quite above speed, his red rocket blasting like a friggin locomotive (a reference to both smoke and speed)

It's very fast.

And Dr. Diesel is, in fact, the devil...

Just occured to me I didn't give any rides. Next time maybe... I ended up staying quite late, got recruited to fab up a boost pipe on the SDI intake manifold project. We got it on and running, with a few loose ends. Nothing worse than expected on a job of that magnitude...

Yes other than the sunburn it was great , like others I only realized that I also should have asked for a ride in the IDI machines . I would be neat if sometime that all of those cars could possibly race eachother or somthing(1/4 mile) ,you know just to see whats going on.Its nice to see and hear them but I'd lover to see them go :) .

I'm glad to have met most if not all of you guys from this board at the GTG last Saturday.  Sorry that I was so pre-occupied working on my car -- usually I delegate other people to do the work, leaving me with a lot of time to socialise  :D    FWIW it was great to chat -- if only briefly -- with Lanny and Bryson.  I'm sure we'll meet in the auto-X circuit this summer, and for those going to Waterfest, hope we can hang out and spread some Diesel love there

Sorry if I were not formally introduced to others from this board who were also there...

Gerry remarked to me what a good time he had hosting the GTG and the great people who came out.  I would love to see more of these Diesel-specific meets as we seem to draw a different (more mature) crowd than some in the general VW and gasser enthusiast populace.

FYI, there are TDI GTGs planned almost on a monthly basis, and by all means you non-TDI-Dieselers are certainly most welcome to join.  I will try to post events of note here as they show up on TDIClub, but also keep your eyes peeled on the Events/GTGs section in that forum; like I said, there are meets throughout in your region almost on a monthly basis, even through the dead of winter in southern Ontario, for example.  Sorry if you IDI guys have a hard time with that

RedRotors got introduced to a pretty decent steak dinner on Friday night and enough reading of car stuff to furnish the Library of Congress.  :P

Marc, I guess you can "un-sticky" this and raise the anchor to let this thread drift into the sea of obscurity of time...
