A little off topic, but what ever happened to the W8. I haven't heard anything about in a long time. Did it turn out to be a turd?

it pulled like a mule but it broke like a twig.  so yeah pretty much a turd

Thats a shame, I rode in a W8 Passat wagon a couple years back that they had at a buddy of mines Dealership. It was crazy.... Going 120 and still had tons of pedal left.

Yeah, I got to "borrow" one for the night when I worked at the dealership.  It was a nice machine.  Price tag was insane though, something like $40,000?  WAY too much for a Passat.  

Now, I also got to drive a W12 Phaeton.  :shock: Insane.  Whisper quiet, and so smooth, you have no idea you are going as fast as you are.  It's like imaging a Cruise ship going warp speed.  :P
