i'm looking for a tach from a mk2 diesel that i can use in my TD pickup i need the one that runs off of the W terminal from the alternator i have mk1 gas cluster with tachs if someone would like to trade me or trade for something else ? or just sell to me ! doese'nt matter if it's in KM or MPH

I guess it don't matter as long as came out of a factory diesel that the tach ran off of the W terminal of the alternator! i got 3 or 4 gas clusters but i don't want to go through modifications to make the gas tach cluster work i'm not into changing diodes and soldering too tedius for me! i'm going to use a jetta mk1 dash in my '81 TD pickup . so was that a CE2 that VW used in german spec models? CE2 is 90(89.5 if german I believe) til the end of mk3 production.(B3/b4 Passat as well)

ok then i need one from an A2 chassie 85 to89 diesel !it should say diesel right on the tach . i'm putting it in a 81 pickup with a jetta dash .

I'm going to the local VDub wreckers this weekend, I can see if there are any diesel tach clusters on cars while I'm there...
