seems to me there's some stuff that won't fit back and forth, windows maybe? my daily driver is a german 84 jetta (gas 1.7) and the body is starting to go (Not worth trying to save!)
it's easy to switch a gas to a diesel, and pretty near impossible to switch a diesel to a gas. So if you are planning on putting your 1.7 gas engine in that rabbit I would say forget it.
diesel to gas isn't impossible. It's a little more wiring intensive though. People do it all the time, usually with diesel caddies to gasser setups.
Wouldn't bother. The 1.7 runs okay, but after buying the 92 with the 1.6TD, I'd rather go diesel. Make a great parts car for another A1 though. everything is pretty good (except the floor, especially under the driver's seat!) Tranny, clutch, suspension, tires and wheels to no end, new muffler under warranty a couple of weeks ago. You get the picture. Thought about going diesel in this car, but the body's not worth the effort. Need another A1, but don't think that rabbit should be a winterbeater!
Hey, where are my pics, dont sell it to any morons on vortex until i can see it!!!!!
ill trade u my 15 inch subwoofer for it. the subwoofer is worth 1500 large.
doh! i want to pick this one up...too many already though.
i looked for my first rabbit for a long time before i found the one i bought.... its clean but not as clean as this one bryson is selling! stand up guy and a good car!!
if i can get 1000 ill be up to buy it. looks clean and i love rabbits. AND its diesel
Any luck? This is a sharp car!
This rabbit came from arizona a couple years ago. It has a little over 60,000km's.
If it's from Arizona the odometer should read in
miles, not
kilometers. If it really has only 60,000 kms on it (~37,000 miles), then it's a real find!
