Right then,my AAZ in my mk1 golf has a vibration when revved to about 2300 rpm,i found the vibration and i was alarmed,the fuel pump bracket was loose,,the bolts were finger tight,i had to take the pump off to get to the top one,there are 3 bolts holding it on,i have replaced the bolts with new high tensile ones,used spring washers and loctited the threads,im hoping this will stop them moving,anyone had a problem with things working loose? the vacuum pump lock bolt was also loose,the vacuum pump turned about 5mm you could see where the paint was missing,
