A friend is selling his 1.9TD [not TDI] engine. Excellent shape, but not quite "perfect": pump has a minor fuel seep around inlet; head was put on without new valve seals (smokes a little); great power; engine has about 5K miles since assembly, but is being replaced with 1.6TD to better maximize fuel mileage on long trips in Rabbit pickup.
1.9 head, 1.9 pump, 1.9 manifolds. This is 'pump-to-pan' complete, with new H/D clutch... asking $2500; seems worth it. Other offers? Location is inland Southern California.
