Lads have a problem,ive cut the pressure pipe from the inlet manifold to the fuel pump to t in a boost gauge,ive done it ok,it reads fine,but the gauge vibrates when the engines running,ive held the gauge (vdo) in my hand and it still does it,its anoying,the other full size vw gauge does it too,but on my jetta its fine ? any ideas?

It's pretty common with boost gauges. IIRC you have to drill a small hole somewhere to release some of the pressure or using a restrictor.

Check this page, very end of it, has a pretty good explanation for what happens.

Very common problem with VDO gauges, I am not a fan of those gauges at all, their EGT/pyrometer gauges are a joke. I would recommend investing in better quality gauges, I usually use autometer and have actually had good luck with Isspro gauges as well.
