If you plan on driving that much each way research the transmission code in the car and the gear ratios. You will probably want to change out the transmission also with something for highway use, the stock trans in 91 was not a highway flyer (more like 4000 rpm at 75mph), find a AGS code (3000rpm@70mph) or ACN (3000rpm@75mph) since your changing the engine anyways the trans is just sitting there...
It will get you 5mpg or more plus reduce the noise a lot.
That might not be a turbo pump on the car, some USA models had altitude adjustment in place of the LDA (looks just like a turbo pump), it would have some sort of valve on the pass fender well that controls it.
