need a new wastegate for my t3

so i bought a t3 and it's in good shape accept for that the waste gate can is off of it for some reason... will a truck shop be able to get this part? is it something i could get myself and replace?  any info would be really awesome!

01 Jetta TDI 100% stock daily

It looks like the can was pried off by someone who didn't know how to adjust the boost pressure.

I think you will find that you have to buy a new turbo or find used turbine section and swap it out.

I need a new "valve" for mine, it's bent.  part seems to be non-existent as well.  Bummer!

Take it apart, weld the gate shut. Drill a hole in the manifold and run an external gate. Easy easy.
