Hey everyone;
I woke my Rabbit up today! Installed the battery, finished hooking up the Thermoswitch on the Rad fan and did an oil change (after my b/f REEFED on the stupid oil filter for 20 minutes ). I also painted the 'new' bumpers (which have yet to go on) and drove her around the farm! haha
Then I parked her by the house and gave her a hug.

I love my BioBunny! Let the summer fun begin!

Whoohoo, bring on the Bunnies!
That's a pretty sharp looking Rabbit, and I'm not a fan of red cars normally.

My '79 is off the jackstands. It rained pritty good last night. When the roads dry, and if it looks like the salt is washed off the road, I'll bring it out.

Thanks guys

I love my BioBunny; however last night and today it was POURING rain and I got water under the fuse panel again. I can't figure out where it's coming from this time!? I permanently keep a plastic bag over my fuse panel :oops: , but thought I had found all the leaks last Fall. Now it turns out water is coming in somewhere else again! Ack! :shock:
I resealed under the window rubber, fixed a hole in the rain tray so where the hell is this water coming from!?!?! :x

Just something to check, try running a water hose in the rain tray. Make sure the drains are working well, it might be backing up. Had that problem on one of our Jetta's.......

Yup, there's two drainholes (one on each side at the bottom of the rain gutter) and they typically clog with pine needles, old leaves, pieces of mouse nest, etc. The water then backs up and finds new ways to drain, including down the into the fusebox.

Thanks guys

. Well, today I finished putting on the bumpers and also found a small hole in the fender at the rain tray, so I patched that up and with any luck, hopefully that will prevent some of that rain leakage. I also vacuumed out all the leaves and crap from the rain tray and then washed the car

.
Isn't she perty!

Next weekend, the plan is to make 80l of BioDiesel!

VW Scully, I had an 84 Jetta that leaked onto the fuse panel (that was how I got such a good deal on it). Turned out it was a body seam....if I remember correctly, it ran from the base of the winsdhield towards the front of the car....right around where the gap is between the fender and the cowl area. I sealed it up and had no more problems.
Might be something to check.
